If it's fruit flies, then fruit or veg (compost or food waste container maybe?). If it's fungus gnats (no, I can't tell the difference, either), then they thrive in the top couple of cm of damp soil in houseplants. Nematodes can help, as can carnivorous plants, or always watering from the pot base.
If you ever follow me on Twitter (god forbid) and you catch me using alt text; it's not for twitter. it was for bluesky and those ungrateful nematodes got lucky I didn't backspace the entire description.
Three days on all the seedlings are up! Now I’ve introduced a bit of air flow and I’m also wriggling the tray once a day to imitate wind which strengthens and thickens the stem I have my light on about 50% and will up slowly it over the next couple of weeks I’m also misting these daily 💚🫶🧚🏻

Même si y’a des énormes nématodes !
Did u know? Some folks don't like moss & actually spray it off stuff. No-o-o! Not only is it beautiful, these collections of micro plants are fantastic carbon & moisture capturers, as well as housing important invertebrates like Nematodes & Tardigrades & some larger beasties too. 🌱🌿🐙🪲🌍
