Also, if you're otherkin/fictionkin, be wary of folks who claim to have kintypes from the same timeline as yours. A lot of times, people who do not have their best interests at heart will say that kind of thing as a way to make you more dependent on them. You're the authority on your experiences.

They arent queer for being a furry. They are transphobic by virtue of being queerphobic (yes, trans is queer you bigot) They are transphobic for trying to force their way into LGBTQ+ while not being queer. Furry/Therian/Otherkin is NOT queer.
Posthumanness is not queer. Otherkin and Therian are not queer.
This sort of thing, the early Therian and Otherkin (and draconity) communities. Because I didn’t experience the exact thing in the exact way, I was told I was delusional and making it up. Which later screwed with my ability to realize I was trans. It was damaging.
