Right, like I get that pediatricians also (for public health reasons!) want their patients to go see them… but then the vax suppliers aren’t prioritizing supplying the pediatricians offices (from what our ped said) so it’s just leaving kids unvaxxed for seasonal stuff. 😭

I think this is probably related to some collusion, pediatricians don't want all vaccines to switch to a pharmacy model because it could wreck two revenue streams?

We could have pushed for comprehensive abortion training in medical and even nursing schools (basic D&C can be done by nurse practitioners) and made sure health care was accessible to all in community health care centers so women got this care in the same buildings as pediatricians and podiatrists

I think pediatricians know what’s best for kids. Gynecologists know what’s best for women. Not attorneys. And definitely not politicians.

There are some access issues in the US and Canada, depending on where exactly you live, insurance etc. In the US, it can be tricky to get infants - young kids vaccinated. This is partly due to restrictions on who exactly can administer to those age groups and also pediatricians not stocking it.
