The Thamesmead model fit for the 21st century by copying how bad it's transport links are.

A bit of a bleakness wander.

The redevelopment of Royal Albert Wharf. There are the broken deserted huts on one side, new flats on the other and the looming of The City at the back. F me it makes Thamesmead look like a Bohemian retreat
The clouds bear down heavily on the docks

good work - implications for other routes too - I'd suggest it also casts doubt on the plans for the Gallions Reach extension if headways mean you wouldn't be able to run a service with sufficient frequency to terminate at both Beckton and Thamesmead. Unless you made Canning Town - Beckton a shuttle

Nice ride past The Rose of Denmark pub along the Thames from Greenwich to Thamesmead. The return leg via Plumstead and Welling wasn't great.

It's real. It was a lobster called Santa (xmas gift) & after it died I kept it frozen while the ship was built. It was autumn 1999. She was launched at the East end of Thamesmead where the flood wall has a gap. The music was the looped intro to Sanctuary by FFB. After we ate peas - Santa's favourite
