Ironically, bowls with wholegrains, vegetables, beans/other plant protein and some kind of sauce are the bulk of what I eat. And I’m British. I apologise on behalf of my fellow countrywoman. That was rude.
Ahh gotcha! Hmm I’m not sure then. I remember being told it was “bad” carbs which upped your cholesterol (non-wholegrains etc) but my diet knowledge is super outdated Also I hope your mum is doing okay!
