Oops. You can tell how hungry I was getting during my grocery run because the trolley starts out all very wholesome and full of vegetables and wholegrains, and ends up full of chocolate ganache pudding and yellow sticker donuts. 🙄 Great job, self.

It has indeed, expecially with all the new bakeries opening inside discounts. The shelf industrial bread it's still unacceptable though, it's basically just sugar and alcohol. I make my own bread with wholegrains flour, but sometimes eeeh, I must succumb to pizza rossa...

As shown yesterday: wholegrains rye bread with walnuts and figs. Re-posted because a bread post without cut is no bread post 😉

Dark bread covered flour. The surface is scarred by irregular cracks.
Dark cut surface of the bread with visible pieces of walnuts and figs and medium sized pores.

Ahh gotcha! Hmm I’m not sure then. I remember being told it was “bad” carbs which upped your cholesterol (non-wholegrains etc) but my diet knowledge is super outdated Also I hope your mum is doing okay!
