I finished reading 7 volumes of the manga "The Yakuza's Guide to Babysitting". It's such a cute story with one of my favorite trope: the found family. The kids are adorable and the adults easy to root for. It also has a good balance btw the funny parts and the heartfelt/angsty ones. #seinen #manga

Can't wait for the next time I'm babysitting, the boys are going to roast me so hard before demanding a try. Their dad/my brother did the same when we were kids and then failed spectacularly to keep the hoop moving, and I fully expect history to repeat with the kids

I made pumpkin pie from scratch today (including the pumpkin puree from REAL ACTUAL pumpkins!) then I ate some with friends who came over for lunch, and then they left, and I lay on the couch and did this. 10/10 Sunday.

Selfie on the couch where my labradoodle is lying on my legs and the large golden retriever we’re babysitting over the weekend is on the floor by my head, and I’m rubbing his head.

Second batch of my German vacation pictures, where me and several other kigs take a nice boat ride on one of northeast Germany's many lakes. And to be honest, "babysitting" Chibi made me feel a bit like a mom. ☺️ (1/2)

No in Delaware. It was my first non-babysitting job, during high school & then summers the first couple years of college when I was still going back to DE. It was called The Pagoda by the Kumquat Tree which sadly isn’t there anymore
