It’s been a whirlwind of a week-and-a-half. First BFC, then WPAFW, with only two days in between. Perhaps the first time I’ve done back-to-back cons (if WPAFW could be considered a “con”). Great times, to be sure. But, as I ride the train into work, I can feel the exhaustion.

I made this a week before BFC when the injury was fresh. I couldn't leave the house for a while without help (still hard). I couldn't access my toolkit. The flashbacks came, and they hit me hard. The toxic shame followed. I am not struggling atm, doing great recently, but I want to keep sharing.

BFC was magical and this is the only photo I have from the con as the con is very private even phones have security stickers over the cameras... I made at least 6 new friends that I consider family, we have possibly found a Bull 🐂 for our relationship, and I actually had a panel (story time) 🥰
