This is an old wives’ tale, it’s actually about Anthony Kiedis’s tireless volunteer work driving a Red Cross Bloodmobile, which he would occasionally park under overpasses.
The blood drive was in a bloodmobile outside the police station, so I avoided cops entirely. Downside of that was there was no proper snack/rest area, & I didn't want to sit in the courtyard as I am a delicate porcelain-skinned redheaded flower who must avoid the sun, so I ate Cheez Its in my car.
