Very dismayed! This ancient beast can still run iTunes which I use to manage my music library and iPod (having never really gotten the hang of how its replacement "Music" app works. Off-and-on 3 days of trying to get this baby to get past the clunk to no avail. Sigh!
I'm almost done redoing Luka's enclosure, but now I have to wait 8 hours for this foam to set on the cork I put on the front so he can't clunk against the glass. Noticing now that I should have grabbed some window tint to cover the foam on the outside. whoops.

Bring back public information films. The green cross man, Charlie says, clunk click… ok maybe not that last one.
Hmmm, having the wings be part of the arm so you have both the hands and the functional wing would do it. Maybe make it so the wings fold into the arms abit too, not alot but just enough that the arms are steel feasibly useable but you still have the harpy clunk.
RIP to my purdy Xbox controller with the nice colours and fancy grips... the shoulder button finally gave out completely after it first went clunk over a year ago.
Yeah, that clunk is the motor removing the double-frame advance prevention—even that's electronic. The frame advance is the only truly mechanical aspect and it sounds like it was done entirely out of the conviction they needed some mechanical aspect to it for appeal.
The fact that the clunk is unrelated entirely to the shutter does continue to weird me out a bit
