Yeah this all depends on their personal portfolio allocation. A lot of active VCs are heavy in early-stage, whereas the podcaster-bro VCs are often resting on their laurels and pretty diversified into different risk tranches.

We have more games in our back catalogue now and our income is diversified with things like publishing, plus we are on more platforms. But I do think it's harder to get noticed these days due to 10 years of great games being made + older ones!

This is nothing new. F. Scott Fitzgerald and Charles Dickens made most of their money from magazine works and serializations, not books. Obviously things are different now after the collapse of the magazine economy, but diversified revenue is still the way to make a living at writing.

This is genius. I’m guessing a utility likePG&E can get on board with this because they are already diversified, but other less “blue trifecta” states will have a hell of a time copying it. Also it still doesn’t solve the rate base death spiral for gas-only utilities.
