Young smart people are also vulnerable. There are plenty of stories of people getting scammed that are educated people in their 30s.

Yeah voter base wise we are grabbing a lot of center and center right (especially college educated) but so far I’m seeing many electeds switch with them. Maybe it is just a small sample size or I only see some but it seems recently the defections have been D to R.

I believe young folks should have the opportunity, but any UK government is now afraid if it opens the door there will be a mass exodus of talented, educated young British people to Europe because they’ll have better pay, better working conditions, affordable housing & a good standard of living.

Very much agreed. I often prescribe myself to the notion of "All politicians are horrible" but even I understand that you have to weigh the pros and cons. It's about making an educated and informed decision. I choose to vote in a way that leads to better lives for the people I care about.

The average 17 year old is probably better educated and quicker to pick on bullshit from social media on some issues than their Xer parents who sound like Rogan every time their trusted NYT is on their bullshit.

"Young people don't read books any more" is something said by people who don't talk to young people. The average 17-year-old American today is FAR better politically educated than we were at their age. We live in a digital age, and there are new ways to get information.

I've never understood the appeal. Rich people, high flyers, highly educated, I've no problem with them. It's posh twats like that that really irk me.
