Yeah I'm staring at the Kia EV6 kinda hard for next fall when the ol' van's lease is up. I dunno, I had hope for the Carnival Hybrid until I found out recently it's not a plug-in, just a hybrid, so not sure it's worth the additional cost now. EV6 gets the full $7500 when you lease so we shall see.
A Kia EV6. We went with a pure electric, for mechanical simplicity (no oil changes, no transmission, etc)A Kia EV6. We went with a pure electric, for mechanical simplicity (no oil changes, no transmission, etc)
I sat in a BYD Seal yesterday, a Chinese electric car. It is legitimately nice. If I don't (or can't) buy my Kia EV6 at the end of my contract in a few months time then I will have no qualms about getting one of these, pending it's nice to drive after a test on Saturday.
Ah damn. Just realized that the EV6 doesn't have a heated steering wheel. Boooo! That said, I found out a little more about its history! It was a Kia corporate car in SoCal before I got it! That explains the lack of maintenance on the history. It would have all been done internally.

having this problem big time with a new iphone 16 and my ev6. i would be mollified if i could slam it multiple times in frustration like an 80s landline receiver into its cradle
