If anyone needed an example of just how far machine translation is from being good - the only two bits of this that are correct are 'is good' and 'the left'. (it can't handle mixed languages, basic fandom slang, or that this was posted along with an image and thus refers to the left *person*)

I'm halfway through #GoldenTerrace vol 1, chapter 24. I really like it. The translation is so readable. It really reinforces that quite aside from my love for specific individual stories, my favorite setting for c-novels is imperial/political drama, more than wuxia or xianxia.
