Superfriends #7 was one of the handful of comics my brother and I owned when we were little kids and it was my introduction to the larger DC Universe - def. the first time I'd ever seen the Flash, Hawkman & Elongated Man. My copy is long gone but I read it more times than I can count.

At this point, who hasn’t Hawkman been though? Maybe he is Vandal Savage! (J/k no more retcons for Hawkman please)

In his original appearances, Vandal Savage claimed to have been the Pharaoh Cheops, or Khufu. Just once, I want Hawkman to be like "Listen, asshole, I *know* you weren't Cheops, because *I* was Cheops"

This January, me and DC Comics Legend HOWARD PORTER are taking Hawkman back to Midway City for a tale of Love and Longing in the pages of DC's LEX IN THE CITY. I saw some of Howard's pages yesterday and my jaw was on the floor, I'm so excited, 2025 is going to RULE!
