I miss the Hersheypark of my youth-- Giant Wheel, Skyride, Tudor Square. They were all products of the Randall Duell reimagining of the park in the 1970's, and some of his best work.
I looked to see if Hersheypark had costumed characters, because ha ha they become irradiated kaiju, and uh I am not going to post the photos here because it feels like a hate crime.
Per my own internal polling (I was at Hersheypark two weeks ago), Trump is in trouble. I only saw one Let’s Go Brandon shirt and actually saw one Harris shirt. Past trips during election years were overwhelmingly Trump. I only saw a woman wearing a very tiny Warren pin in 2020. No Biden swag at all.
