I /was/ overcome, but not by the laminator: by three hours of chaperoning a junior high movie night. With concessions. They are like winsome raptors who throw popcorn and yell joyously while testing the electric fences.
The battle of badges is over, I purchased a precision cutter and a new lamination machine after my previous one at a badge I spent an hour cutting out my hand. It's taken a while to get this all together, but I finally did so and got badges cut in a way I am satisfied with!
Today, for the first time, I confront the single sheet laminator myself. Pray that I am the one to emerge victorious, with printouts (but not body parts) laminated.
But i would def make other critters. And open custom bookmark comms. My mom has a laminator i can use for free :) just gotta print out the art.
How much was it? I have no practical use for a laminator but I've always kind of wanted one
Owning a laminator also has great D&D implications, it's gonna feel so clean and quick to have character sheets you can edit with drywipe markers
