Paper bags will return to LCBO stores in ‘the coming weeks’
Ontario's liquor retailer, the LCBO, stopped offering paper bags a year ago. Despite the environmental benefits, the Doug Ford government balked — and the bags are coming back.
Found a bottle of Blanton's single barrel bourbon out in the wild at the LCBO today. Not something you see every day. 👀 Not the fanciest tasting bourbon by any means, but it's definitely an iconic bottle and name at least. Now if only I could find a Rip Van Winkle...
I've belatedly come in favor of keeping booze sales in the LCBO and maybe a much better Beer Store than what exists now, but seriously folks. Lots of jurisdictions sell booze at corner stores and the world didn't fall apart. Let your orangism go away.
