The Society for the Study of Medieval Languages and Literatures invite graduate students from across the globe to submit to the annual Medium Ævum Essay Prize
Submission guidelines:

- Graduates should submit an essay of no more than 8,000 words, on a topic in the range of interests of Medium Ævum, by 12:00 midday (GMT) Monday 2nd of December, 2024.
- The Prize is open to post-graduates and those recently graduated with a higher degree

The Prize:

- The value of the prize is £500
- An entry declared proxime accessit will be awarded £100
- The winning essay and other entries of sufficient quality and promise may be considered for publication in Medium Ævum

Trying to update my profile on the dumb version of LinkedIn our university subscribes to (Handshake). Trying to add in my BA, & Hispanic Studies or Spanish are not options for majors??? It seems that English is the only "language" available. Everyone else is under "Foreign Languages & Literatures"
