As a general rule the Prelims seem to be the best finals most years. I don't know what it is about GFs but no matter how well matched the two teams are one of them just can't compete on the day.
I think one of the prelims has been the best finals match for quite a few years now.
some stuff that helped was instead of finicking simplistic straight line and screentone backgrounds through three layers of roughs and finals I just banged them out in the prelims instead and now I don't have them hanging over my head as part of the finals, only figures
The prelims were a drag, but this main card is delivering in spades 🥊
As a non-Australian I do find that a bit weird! Understand it for the Grand final but not the prelims etc. Also they seem to have had some pretty awful singers!
When I was 31… Married with two children. Living on a small farm outside a town of 350 in western Minnesota. Completing my last year of grad coursework and preparing for prelims. Not having an emotional affair with a wackadoo.
