I have not been able to finish revising newer stuff so most of the stories out on sub are long in the tooth and hard sells, alas. Same, I’m mostly either in novel-writing mode or academic-writing mode these days!
The sample from the right photo is from Gallup Mills, Vermont. The photo was from a paper that I never managed to get published (mostly because I was too tired to try revising it for a different journal, or to learn how to use pseudosections to make my argument).

I have a student doing a taxonomic revision of a dinosaur and he's sending me files that have headings like "Taxonomic Hell", "Taxonomic Hell 2: Electric Boogaloo" — and I think he's learning well and doing a great job. If you think a taxonomic revision is easy, are you even revising?
I mean, I'm currently looking at revising my set of consulting services and this was actually pretty helpful. So, yeah, it could totally be useful aside from hyping up somebody 😂
