i think every single member of my immediate family that buys into the right wing grift and conspiracy bullshit has also gotten horrendously and repeatedly scammed in recent years wonder if those two things share a correlation at all

I think I'm being scammed by someone. I told them I don't have money, and they said they won't ask for much as money isn't important. I said "I see" and they said "Alright, I'll manage with my precious art skills or surprise you amazingly".
While I have not found any fraudulent GFMs I have found a few Gazans themselves being scammed- by receivers charging fees or people offering to promote for them for a fee etc. I always think a good question to ask is how often they are receiving the money and if they pay anything to the receiver

I've suddenly been friended by a bunch of bots, podcasts, "businesses", and people claiming to be from Gaza with donation links in their bios and not much else. I've already been scammed twice donating to someone escaping Gaza, only for it to be a scam. The enshittification of Bluesky has begun.
