Going to hazard a guess that the only political ideology he wants to promote via bold shapes and colors is a red rectangle with a white circle with a weirdly shaped pair of black lines in the middle. 🤔

Also, not to slam my own discipline, but chemistry class is maybe not the best place to have to learn that because that's not what our pedagogy training focused on so we're having to figure out how to teach this as we go. We trained on equations and 3-D shapes!

A newly discovered triply-lensed supernova found using #NASAWebbwebbtelescope.pub/3ZBtcmC 🔭 🧪

A black background is scattered with hundreds of small galaxies of different shapes, ranging in color from white to yellow to orange to red. Some galaxies are distorted, appearing to be stretched out or mirror imaged. Just to the left of the center of the image, there is a long, red arc that stretches from 2 o’clock to 7 o’clock. At its left, is a cluster of a few white galaxies that look like a glowing orb. To the right of the center of the image, the red arc and glowing orb of galaxies at the left appear to be mirrored. The right-hand red arc stretches from 3 o’clock to 5 o’clock, the glowing orb of galaxies is at its right.

Bittern at the grocery store (2/2) #art#minicomic#comic#bittern#birds

A minicomic in a purplish color scheme. Panel 1: A bittern, holding a small snack bag, runs toward a grocery store exit with its neck extended long. A store employee yells, “Sir! SIR!!” Panel 2: The employee yells, “ExCUSE me, sir!!!” The bittern’s neck puffs out, and an exclamation point appears above its head. The bag in its mouth reads “FISH CRACKER.” Panel 3: The imposing employee folds her arms and asks, “Are you gonna pay for that?” Panel 4: The bittern stands very still, straight, and extended with its beak pointing in the air, perfectly matching the shapes of the umbrellas in a bin behind him. A sign reads, “SALE: Umbrellas 25% off.”

sn0wmins art #17

A black and white, promarker and paper cut drawing of a Blue Pikmin looking at you through water.

The Blue Pikmin has it's arms spread out. It's head and flower are tilted to the left.

There is slightly visible white tape on the paper cutout part, used to attach it to the Blue Pikmin drawing and fix a part that might have been damaged.
A black and white photo of a cutting mat.

The water surface paper cut that was put on top of the Blue Pikmin drawing is on the middle, a craft knife is on the right and the paper shapes that were cut out to create the water surface are pilled up on the top part of the mat.

issue 5b part 3

A square panel in the center of the page shows a face, eyes locked on the viewer. Gentle orange, yellows, and reds loosely define the shapes of the face, and the person’s bare shoulders.
“god” it says on this plain white page “whatever”

issue 5b part 1 “Eudaimonia” means “the good life”, not just contentment but a deeper and more complex state of being. This is one chapter of a series that explores different aspects of the concept. patreon link in bio - no pressure, but any little bit helps!

Orange linework suggests crows feet and the wrinkles and shapes around the bottom of an eyelid. Below, in gray pencil it says “a wrinkle”
“I’ve been trying to feel good / about my face and” it says in the white space above a panel with a person looking at a phone held in one hand while putting the other hand over their face. Over this orange, red, and yellow drawing, text overlaps and extends past the edges of the orange panel border on both sides. It reads “it just keeps changing”. Below, outside of a panel gray text says “I just want to get used to it”
A square panel with gray panel borders holds an colored pencil figure looking in a mirror, the lines defining the mirror are the same orange as the panel on the last page. “I’ve got this feeling that” it says underneath the panel, “something in me is rotting”
A large panel fills most of the page, and inside is a gentle, detailed drawing of a cheek and jawline, cutting off right at the edge of the eye and the ear creating a feeling of the character being unable to meet the reader’s gaze. Towards the bottom in gray it says “somewhere I don’t know”
