Agree Though it'd be funny to see what Florida would be like without snowbirds, it's been about 5 years since I lived there zmzm.

The Dark-eyed Juncos have been back for a few days but it was only yesterday I finally managed to get a photo of one. They are our true harbingers of winter and in fact their nickname is snowbirds #birds#birding#birdphotography#HamOnt#Ancaster#snowbirds#junco

A junco sitting in the shade surrounded by fall colours. His upper parts are steel gray and lower parts are white. His eyes are black and his beak is a pinkish-white.

Well, this sucks. One of the snowbirds in my family is not far from New Smyrna beach, which is on the east coast, so hopefully not getting hit hard. I'd rather he was home in Maine though.

I’m really worried about SRQ. Luckily my parents aren’t there now, but their condo is. (They’re snowbirds).

The snowbirds probably go to their other homes.

@benedictsred.bsky.social me, watching snowbirds installing vinyl fencing in a hurricane state.

It actually frightened us as well. Once we realized how the power structure there worked, we knew that we couldn't stay. (Stupid us, we moved there to escape al because we thought all of the snowbirds made it a more resonable, more educated place than al😬)

2

Happens a LOT here in NY. School board elections are the first in the cycle, and we get many folks who have to re-register because they're snowbirds. Board of elections mail doesn't forward.

Sorry, Frances. Can you tell I am passionate about my hatred for the snowbirds? 🤣
