It would seem that reducing the number and size of the ranches would be an effective way of addressing the problem. And that the most effective way to do that is to cut meat and dairy consumption.

No, "companies directly venting CH4 have not caused 63% as much warming as humanity's cumulative CO2 emissions". These should be stopped, for sure, but there are other sources of fossil CH4 & the biggest single source of anthropogenic methane is the meat/dairy industry. Our diets also need to change
