The problem is that Zionism is both (1) Israel-oriented diaspora Jewish nationalism with varying levels of intensity and divergent politics, AND (2) umbrella term for settler colonialism in Palestine in the last century there's an overlap+connection between the two, but they're not the same

With some Western anti-Imperial commentators, it almost sounds like eulogies for the brave fighter. Hanan Abd Rahman Abu Salameh, 59, killed today, by a soldier or a settler, while harvesting her olive trees near Jenin. Talk about her, and tens of thousands like her, before you eulogise Sinwar.
