Bluesky looks and functions like Twitter at the outset, but the platform stands out because of what lies under the hood.
*long suffering sigh* There are some networks of care, some communities, that rely on twitter as infrastructure and cannot simply pack up and leave lest they risk losing said community. To call the maintenance of these networks unethical is something of a privileged position.
