Is there anything more frustrating that really being the mood to write, but not being in the mood to write your actual WIP? Or only being in the mood to write a much later chapter of that WIP, which you can't because it relies on you knowing what the hell is going on in the book first?

If I were looking for advice, I don't think I'd take it from an article referring to 'a potential mate'. It's the kind of wording that makes me imagine the writer pushing up his fedora to scratch his greasy scalp and think, 'Where can one procure females?'
