Absolutely this. We just got bought by a PE firm, who doesn't want to spend money on offices, so voila! Work from home is now the norm!
I have known men who measured the dimensions of their office and were visibly and very vocally upset that a colleague had an extra four square feet. These are very troubled and weak men who desperately need the “power” the workplace confers on them.
Remote work, UBI, M4A, 4 day work weeks, better pay and benefits etc. These all have numerous studies showing their effectiveness around costs, productivity, etc. And yet....
