we've certainly known one another for a VERY long time now ๐
I might pop my back out if I kick too hard ๐
my husband is a recovering heroin addict and always looked after his pets and he had dogs, cats, a hedgehog at the time. Hell people without addictions/afflictions can't even take care of animals, worked with a girl who always has to get animals put down for god knows why and keeps getting more -_-
when I fled Arizona, I had a friend in Indiana so came here and stayed with them since I had nowhere else to go. Found out both cats were declawed because of his leather couch, and aside from being a lunatic in general, that was already off-putting enough. I'm glad she puts declawing in the contract
since I shouldn't take in any more cats ๐ I usually cover an adoption fee or two for someone whenever I head up there
oh that's just so sad ;( I don't get it. Both Moira & Scout were 4 and 6 months old when I adopted them, and they'd been available for a while. My vet takes the cats from the animal shelter and displays them in the lobby for very reasonable fees, free shots, spay/neuter and no declaw in the contract
I also find it sad that black kitties often get left behind too ;( they're so beautiful
All of my recent cats (4) have been adopted from my vet. My cat passed away in 2018 (I had him when I was 20, he was 8wks old, I brought him with me from Australia). Both Buoy and Musette were at least 6yo when I got them so our time was short, but even if they were babies it wouldn't be long enough
awww such a cutie, cats can be such amazing friends for us ๐ฉท
I had a stray walk with me a little bit the other night coming home from the shop and felt like an absolute boss ๐
