Ran across another friend who didn't get Paxlovid bc it was hundreds of dollars so here's this link again. You have to have a prescription to enroll and will need to educate the pharmacist but it works. No one should pay hundreds of dollars for Paxlovid! Privatization sucks! wapo.st/47hF7aO
Thereโs a terrific new program for free Paxlovid, but many people donโt know about it.
As we approach Banned Books week, here's my annual reminder: If you're going to partake, buy and read banned books from *living* authors. The Bradbury and Vonnegut estates don't need your money, but Maia Kobabe probably does.
Teen Vogue RULES. Their reporting articles are always excellently educational. Everyone should read Teen Vogue. Even your grandmother should read it.
These folks making the comments were probably raised in it in the 60s,70s,80s,90s, or 00s and haven't done any work to better themselves. It's hard to break the cycle. It's so good that these kids are able to have some influences seeing a better future.
yeah. it just feels to me like "oh this is how the world is" because I was a teen and in my 20s in the 90s and 2000s and I think they were actually the absolute worst decades for fat-shaming maybe like... ever? obviously there has always been, and still is fat-shaming. but it was so so bad then.

Serious credit to Taraji P. Henson as well. When she talked about Project 2025 at the BET Awards, she got it into non-political information streams. Likely reached more people who don't closely follow politicsโwatching the awards show, seeing commentary after, etc.โthan millions of dollars in ads.
