Honestly one of the things I really underestimated pre parenthood was the sheer amount of time & energy I’d expend on just trying to get my kids to eat foods they’ve *requested*
I actually like a bunch of their pumpkin seasonal stuff but agree that most of it doesn’t taste like pumpkin. The one exception of stuff I usually get is the pumpkin paneer samosas. The rest is like pleasant cinnamon/clove fall flavors.
She’s been my first real insight into how normal folks who live there deal with these.
My husband and I met for lunch near there recently and he and our friends made it to the restaurant. but I got caught behind a train here, he offered to order for me and I was like “but I might be stuck here forever!”
Those days are rough, I hope you can rest and reset a little bit for yourself.
Oh jeez I’ve often thought about something similar but get way too bogged down in imaginary details to actually make them. It would be awesome if this was a common thing!
Shep last year a friend shared that neighbors posted photos of the “cows” that had escaped containment and were loose in their suburban east coast area. They were sheep. Long tailed, unshorn sheep.
