Correct! Thank you for mentioning this. I've had my eye on a bunch of prints on Edwards' site for a while - Parlainth, the one that was inspired by Clark Ashton Smith's The Holiness of Azédarac, and others. Amazing artist!
Her writing also reminds me of Westerns and hard-boiled crime thrillers, which is not surprising, since she wrote screenplays for several such movies. She also wrote the first draft of the screenplay for The Empire Strikes Back.
Wow, very nice! I recognized this as the cover art for the 1974 Panther publication Lost Worlds Vol. 2 of Clark Ashton Smith stories, but don't think I've seen the whole painting like this before.

Glad you had a nice homecoming event! Is the trip over to Spokane scenic? I like to watch videos of buses/trains in many cities and have seen some cab view videos of beautiful Sounder routes along the Washington coast. Don't think I've watched any east-west intercity from Seattle though.
