why go out to a cemetery to be spooky when you can be spooky in the comfort of your own home or like a public park, that's also just a lot less weird than messing around next to people's gravestones

Counterpoint: I live in a part of the country with random cemeteries in the woods from centuries ago. I always look forward to this time of year, when someone puts a "haunted doll" on one of the graves from somebody who died before the US existed.
