I was having a conversation about this on Twitter, and now know that Minnesota and Lever are among these publishers. If you know of others, feel free to chime ināwe should probably get a list going.
At this point it might be useful to know which academic publishers do NOT have agreements to feed their authorsā content into LLMs, if any, and try to go with them.
Working with Taylor & Francis is simply unethical by this point. Itās unfortunately difficult to have AI use revoked from existing contracts but at least try, complain, if you have a book with them. And otherwise do not even consider.

Realized that I am trying to comment on 95 comp assignments per week, and that is only for 2 of my 3 classes, and teaching is only 1/3 of my job. The math was clarifying, even as I know other people have it far worse.
