Christianity, like all religions, is a human construction, and as such is only as good as the humans who practice it. Thank you for being humans who practice it well.

After growing up evangelical/fundie adjacent, I haven’t been a regular church-goer for basically all my adult life. I am so proud to be a part of this one. For being a small, country church in the south they are surprisingly progressive and Do The Work and I just love that so hard.

Eh, I would honestly say that view only really exists in the reactionary world.

True, we can't rule out the people who have like, mild autism and think nobody could possibly have worse struggles. The other day when I was trying to vent about how I feel limited by my lack of empathy most people I tried to talk to didn't believe me and kept trying to prove I do have empathy.

And oh no, how dare someone have an opinion on something someone said! Neurotypicals are so fragile.

The question is if we'll ever know, neurotypicals really don't know how to use their words 🙄
