There is a LOT of money in being a "hater." Either through podcasts or YouTube or even Patreon. A massive problem arises when professional "haters" embrace bigotry and defamation because they don't have the skill or comprehension needed to provide a legitimate critique of a work.

I'm surprised YouTube hasn't caught on that this could be bad for their bottom line, especially promoting it though their algorithmic search engines. But you know, short sited greed blinds people.

Those people will occasionally churn out a very poorly made comic that they will champion as "anti-woke." The books are often garbage because they go all in on being racist or sexist or anti-LGBT instead of just providing a quality work starring a white cishet male character. Fodder for bigots.

Continuing the previous comment. I endorse everything you have skilfully written. We have to be vigilant to combat these types of people.

Not only is your post timely, but it also raises a crucial issue: the use of social networks to spread hatred, extremism, some, as in the case you mention, "out of fanaticism because they don't have the skills or understanding necessary to legitimately criticise a work".

Anyone who uses woke in a negative context automatically turns me off.
