5/ Scenarios: Two scenarios were developed to analyse the effect of bioenergy in the African #100RE power sector. BPS-1 (#100RE w/o bioenergy) & BPS-2 (#100RE with bioenergy).

6/ The installed capacity of #Africa’s#100RE power sector in both scenarios is dominated by solar PV & battery systems. PV single-axis & PV prosumers contribute more than 80% of the electricity generation by 2050 in both scenarios.
