adding: you're also not *required* to. we have been trained by decades of political rhetoric that there "must" be a response, "cannot" go unanswered, etc. Political and military leaders often frame their choices as not-choices. but there are other options for both justice and improving the world.
I was 9/10 years old when my dad let us ride the ATVs around our yard. Mind you, in 1985 they had 3 wheels instead of 4...which are illegal now. We were not supervised.
