I’m glad this actually delves into the main issue of Uptown at this time… greedy landlords holding vacant spaces hostage for high rents. There are so many good local businesses/restaurants that keep closing because they can’t make rent. These are hubs for those who live here and we deserve better.

Feels weird to me to test if Uptown is Dead by going during construction, having no plans, mentioning a ton of shows but declaring it is actually dead because they went to a shitty bar at 10pm and didn’t get food. There are plenty of places to eat beyond Lake/Lagoon, which they didn’t leave?
