I honestly just assumed her husband was abusive. I mean the thing going around this election cycle letting women know that their husbands can't see who they vote for ... like it's weird people went for "hahaha she's a loser"

Big props to the niece who brought her to vote and took the necessary steps to HELP HER do so. Betty needed accommodations to vote and she, and everyone like her, deserves to have them.

I saw someone say, basically, What was wrong with her that she never bothered to learn to read? So infuriating. Not understanding that people who can't read are usually horribly embarrassed about it. Without hearing from her, we can't know the barriers that existed for literacy.

The hypocrisy from people who go on moral tirades about how "the dems have to EARN MY VOTE" and blast anyone for suggesting voting based on damage mitigation who then suggest we can't know if it's a good thing this woman CAN vote unless we know she didn't vote Trump.
