I honestly just assumed her husband was abusive. I mean the thing going around this election cycle letting women know that their husbands can't see who they vote for ... like it's weird people went for "hahaha she's a loser"

The story is often more complex than the blurb, but it sucks that too many people saw even just the blurb and their knee jerk reaction was “she should’ve stayed not voting because x” and “haw haw idiot old lady” Like… wtf in general.

Its getting bad. In some precincts in NC they are calling couples up together so the husband can watch the wife vote. The number of women saying "I wouldn't allow it" don't understand, if you can't tell your husband how you would vote, you can't tell him not to watch you either.
