Just saw a video where a man pronounced "Whack-a-Mole" to rhyme with "guacamole" and... wait, is that how we're supposed to have been saying it this entire time? Is that what it's called??
This game is called "Diplomacy is Not an Option" and the trailer goes "YOU GOTTA FIGHT..." "FOR YOUR RIGHT..." And I was thinking "... TO PARLAY! That's really clever!" but then instead it came up and said "TO LIVE". Like wtf? That's not at all how the song goes. www.youtube.com/watch?v=mbAG...

As someone with a spotty countryside internet connection (and as someone often trying to code on a laptop from a car) I cannot express how incredibly irritating this shit is. Unity does it as well, freaking out if I don't have internet for 10 seconds and throwing a wobbly. Utter bullshit.
The issue is that every time you make a video game, it's made just slightly differently enough (different mechanics! different art style! changes in tech while you made the last game!), that quite a lot of the stuff you "know" just is not relevant any more.

I am enjoying THE RINGS OF POWER but I can't help feel it's a bit of a gamble making all these rings? They need some sort of safety net in place, in case there's a problem imo.
Saw a tree with slightly-red leaves and shouted "FUCK OFF" at it. I will not go quietly into that good night.
