Fun fact: my brother lives a stone's throw from Dale Vince's house in the Cotswolds, and his 500-year-old iron forge gets an excellent coefficient of performance from this Mitsubishi heat pump.

A 500-year-old forge is unlikely to be well insulated. It's remarkable that a heat exchanger would have enough power to overcome that. How is the coefficient of performance measured?
