I think what annoys me about these efforts to make transgression, in itself, or polydoxy the essential piece Christianity is that Jesus and the apostles never seem to have acted this way. They acted in transgressive ways, but the substance of their transgression was always didactic or confessional

It is WILD how much people want to hold onto the name of Christianity when they don’t really like anything substantial about it.

Doctor says I could be dealing with this another few weeks. I’m kind of at a loss. Physically and emotionally exhausted. Praying desperately that I can pass it on my own and quick so I don’t have to have surgery.
