Basically just following the Midwinter minis video on how to paint your first models (base coat, dry brush, layer other colors, add wash, add highlights). Did my first model all the way through then batch painted 2-3 at a time for the rest

I’ve been using blue tack on old empty pill bottles but considering upgrading to this so I don’t have to deal with tack every time I want to switch models
Yeah, starting with some of the smallest infantry models available may not have been the best call on my part. But hey, grimdark universe means plenty of opportunities for “battle damage”
How long does it take you to paint an average squad of Boyz? I’m getting into Tau but I’ve spent like 10 hours painting my first squad and wondering if I’ll get faster or if I’m just uniquely bad at this

I sure hope this is the case. I am scared because if there’s been a constant over the past 8 years, it’s that Trump outperforms polling expectations when he himself is on the ballot (2016, 2020) and Trumpism underperforms when he’s not (2018, 2022). Hope this year breaks the trend!
