not to belabor the obvious but. the other prisoners, the people we're supposed to be afraid of, tried to save his life. the people who are supposedly there to protect us -- sheriff's deputies, doctors and nurses -- denied him care for a month and let him die in agony. charge was trespassing.

Impossible to think that if this happened to me or my neighbor there wouldn’t be criminal proceedings

The way they assumed he was ODing at the end instead of having taken seriously every attempt to report his symptoms and get him proper medical care is so sick and sad. They wanted him to die. They want prisoners and drug users to go ahead and die without adequate care. I hope they face consequences.
