Unfortunately yet again the future of flight was briefer than advertised. And slmost immediately after lift off in 1908 the airship was shorter than advertised too. The experts amongst you may notice some minor trim issues developing...

Now even competently designed airships can do some funny things. For example here's USS Los Angeles suffering from an unexpected moment of priapism. Cold air on the backside can do that to you, apparently.
