Also cults exemplify coerced behavior, not collective behavior like flicks or birds or swarms of insects. Not the same.

That feels debatable given the number of people willingly following demagogues like Trump, Elon, Jordan Peterson, etc. They have developed collective behaviors as well, it seems I was just curious. I've been wondering why people fall prey to that, but I suppose it falls to anthropology & psychology

Is it all coerced behavior, though? MAGAs seem to join willingly. Same with Musk fans. Plus, no repercussions if they leave unlike other cults.

Oh, neat. I understand that there's a difference, but don't know much about the topic. But "exemplified coerced behaviour" is a great phrase for it.
