In #CoreMaths#MathsToday we were discussing VAT. We got on to talking about cases where VAT has been in the news (eg the pasty tax in 2012, and the jaffa cakes "are they biscuits or cakes?" tribunal of 1991) Obviously none of the students remembered these, because they were 4 years old in 2012 🤣
