I'm trying to find a new psychiatrist but it is really hard in my area. I've had past drs think I definitely I have ptsd (maybe cptsd at this point) but at the time I didn't understand. Current dx is bp2 plus generalized and social anxiety with "ocd tendencies". Brains are not always helpful. 😂

I would also definitely push back on the description of the disordered eating. The behavioral differences do matter quite a lot for you, , and making assumptions about a client is not good for the client.

That… sounds like a working theory. Iirc what I’ve heard of you say of various previous generation relatives, that relationships are/were strained and dysfunctional, I would definitely consider the developmental aspects of trauma as a factor, at minimum. (But I see PTSD everywhere.)
